Certification:<\/em><\/strong><\/strong> Dr. Boudouris is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in Charlottesville, VA, with over 30 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults, older adults, couples, and college students who range in age from 18 and up and who represent a wide range of racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity. Dr. Boudouris was educated and trained in New York, Chicago, and Dr. Boudouris is known as an interactive therapist and works with a solution focused, active, and collaborative approach, which is much appreciated by most of the people with whom he works. He has been trained in and draws from a variety of current and effective treatment models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, contemporary interpersonal\/relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, brief dynamic psychotherapy, and family systems models. A treatment plan and specific approach are developed for each patient following initial evaluation and in response to particular presenting concerns in an effort to provide an effective and quality therapy experience.<\/p>\r\n Dr. Boudouris works closely with psychiatrists and primary care physicians, etc., when medication and\/or medical concerns are involved in the treatment.
